img900.jpg img899.jpg Not going to get rich, for sure. But found this 2000P last night CRH'ing. Maybe this will be the "Year Of The WAM's" for me. Certainly not a bad investment for 1 Cent.

Pretty nice Tommy! What would one of those generally go for?

I might be able to get $10-$15. on ebay. Wish it had been Unc., would have been worth around $50. Edit...that's a scratch on the 2X2 lens, not the coin and that gunk in the corner is not zinc rot, I just have to take a toothpick and get it out.

Very nice find! Tommy.Say Tommy I have a question for you.Do you have a copper/bronze 1982 small date? I got a email yesterday from NGC, that said, someone sent MR.potter a 1982 small date that weighed 3.01 grams.I was just wondering if you might have one.Because about three years ago when I started coin roll hunting.I found a copper/bronze 1982 small date before I ever found a zinc one.I thought there was two varieties for that year.NGC says it's the only one reported.

I don't have the "BIG ONE" that's seen a $15K price tag. But I do have all seven varieties for the year. Been going through the 7 rolls looking for better conditions but have not weighed any yet. I know I should be, but I have so many things going on right now that I have not had the time. I'll probably have as much luck finding the big one as I will with Power Ball tonight.

Ditto I have the same problem there's about 15 rolls of 1982 cents. That I have and a coffee can I will have to go through him and find the one copper one that I have. On the other hand, Tommy I know that you're a good person with a good heart so good things will come to you. I have a great day

Copper and zinc small date PHILADELPHIA cents are common. The rare discovery was a copper small date DENVER cent, a variety which until now was unknown.
