here are a couple more world notes: 1917 EL BANCO ANGLO COSTARRICENSE 1 *UN* COLON 1967 REPUBLICA DOS ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRASIL 50 *CINQUENTA* CRUZEIROS (BANK STAMPED 5 CENTAVOS) **LOW 3 DIGIT SERIAL#** 1967 REPBULICA DO ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRASIL 100 *CEM* CRUZEIROS (BANK STAMPED 10 CENTAVOS)
Very nice Brazilian they were overprinted as the currency was been renamed and revalued yet again to try to make the inflation dissapear LOL Now that Costa Rican note is lovely and the Bank itself is very interesting, it went out of buisness in 1996 I believe after somehow managing to loose around a hundred and fifty million dollars Might have even been more
Must have been a model for the current American banking crisis. BTW, very nice notes, the Brazilians are on my acquire list because of the reverses of course I like the Costa Rican notes, apparently those got vaulted and were unissued for quite a number of years, as they have come out in quantities lately.
