I completed my Lincoln set a number of years ago probably mid 2003 and ever since then whenever I ran across a nice specimen that was reasonably priced I would pick it up and exchange it out in my album, and move the old piece to another album. Well with the three coins I purchased earlier today I just realized that all the coins in my set save my 14-D (which is a f-12) are VF-20 or better, and to boot I nearly have a second complete album which is only really missing the money coins 14-d, 14-S, and the 1909-S coins. I never thought I would have the resources to put together a set that nice. Shows what I know eh?
Congrats! Yeah, I suppose comments could be inserted here about rivers, glaciers and the little acorn! I also believe that most collectors don't have an idea of what they really have. Threads and threads are spent on grading, perserving, "cleaning", etc. but hardly a word is said about cataloging. Now we're waiting for you to discover you have a complete second set of Barber dimes in XF!
........PLEASE DON'T MENTION ACORN!!!!!!! i get an upchuck feeling whenever i hear it. (flashback of election)
