Here's my latest goodie. Got it on eBay. Capped Bust half dimes are a Level 2 collection for me (mid priority).
I finally got out of the coin budget hole so I can spend a bit now. Trouble is, I seem to be able to spend it faster than I can earn it.
My digital camera is only 3.2 Mpixels. But it does have macro capability. It's a Nikon Coolpix 995. And I use 2 lights, both OTT-LITEs with "white" light bulbs (very close to sunlight). But I also think the black background helps the images. I circular crop the images, then paste them onto a white background (Paint Shop Pro). Then I flood the background with black, size it, and finally put the border on. The border is color keyed to the 4 coin metals. Now that I'm a bit practiced with the procedure I can do about 4 coins an hour.
