If you are interested in details on Roman debasement of silver coins there are some interesting numbers here. Most struck me as being in line with observations from the coins I have.
For what it is worth, I see a couple things on the page that I can not accept but we always have to read critically.

Ancient Doug : Thank you very much for the link. Looking at the reseach, someone put in a lot of work. My guess is that it came from Professor Harl from Tulane University. As many people on this site know, Harl has been a leader in the study of Ancient numismatics, especially as it relates to the Roman economy.
