I scored this eye-pleasing winner ... Poseidon, Artemis, a prow, a bow and half a dolphin!! (winna-winna, right?!) Anyway ... I'm a fricken sucker for these sweet ol' BCD examples ... I wanna see what you dudes are hiding!! I love this new coin ... do you guys have anything cool that you wanna show-off?!
Hey, thanks Ancient Aussie ... yah, the price was pretty decent (thanks for noticing) https://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=332848 ... just a "smidge" over the initial estimate (I'll feel okay paying-up for this baby) => fantastic obverse, eh?!
Nice!! => thanks for posting your sweet Artemis example, icerain (I always love seeing other people's coins) ... I wanna see more!!
Sadly, I need to go to bed, but I'm dying to post some of my go-to Thessaly babies ... maybe tomorrow? Oh, but I'd love to see your stuff
c'mon man => use your eyes ... there is a dolphin to the left of the prow (well, maybe 1/2 a dolphin and its tail) => here is my bad effort to plead my case ... ... I see a dolphin slithering in front of the prow ... yes?
Hey, please show me your stuff ... Oh, or are you all Roman? (I can't remember your coins) => please post something that'll knock my socks off, my cool coin-friend!
I'm in the (slow) process of photographing my collection. My collection started out as only coins related in some way to the Bible, but as I found additional coins that I liked I would find a way to expand what could fit in my collection. I probably have more Romans than anything, but I also have some Greeks and of course quite a few Prutah and such.
atta-boy ... thanks, Ajax (those are very cool examples) ... thanks for posting!! Hey, I wanna see some more!! => there is no such thing as a bad coin!! Athelred => I look forward to seeing some of your cool coins (you seem like an awesome coin-guy)
@stevex6 thought you said you were going to sleep like an hour ago. Since you started posting dolphins, here are some swimming under the galley. bottom right coin, just pretend you don't see all the other stuff on top.
