Hey Doug => you once stated that these nice big Perseus/Medusa coins were worth collecting ...

Ummmso ... eh-heh-heh ... well, apparently I listened (maybe I bit too closely?!!)

Either way, I am obviously smitten by these Pontos Amisos coins!! (I love 'em!!)

=> I now have "4" of 'em!! ... none of them are super-great, but none of them are super-dogs either (it has now become a bit of a mini-collection for stevex6!!) ...

Yah, this is a cool coin-type to collect, because it is one of those that is just so fricken cool in-hand, know what I mean?

=> well, I'm sure that the modern-coin dudes have zero-idea what I'm talkin' about!!

=> In-hand!! ... man, are you insane!! (you'll get fingerprints all over it!!)

... aaahhh, but alas => that is the absolute beauty of these babies!!

=> I love man-handling them and takin' them out of their homes and giving them a wee bit o' exrecise every now and then!! (they smile and wag their tails!!)

30 mm and 20 grams => these coins wanna go for walks!! ... these are dog-coins!! ... these aren't sissy cat-coins!! (they're more like working-dogs and/or rescue coins!!)
