Yup, today was a mighty fine day in Coin-Land, my friends!!

=> I scored "4" sweet targets!! (at nice enough prices too ... I'm thinking that the up-coming CNG printed auction kept a few dudes from big-spending at today's e-auction?) ... regardless ... "CHA-CHING"

Doug actually showed TIF and I this coin a couple of weeks ago (it was one of his coin-targets) ... but as it grew closer to the auction I contacted Doug and we determined that I was far more horny for this puppy than he was, so he gave me the green-light to chase this baby to the finish-line!! ... in the end, it wasn't a blood-bath ($130 Hammer ... $100 initial estimate)

... anyway ...

I loved this cartoonish looking coin when he showed it to me ... and I knew/hoped that it was comin' home to The North ...

=> and it did!!

I only picked up one coin in todays auction.
Not a ONK or a crab though.
I have to admit though when I first bid on it a couple of weeks ago it was because the die break made me think a crab or beetle was fixing to take a chunk out of her eye.

Great little crab coin stevex6 nice pick up, also love your top Onkia Alegandron seen that somewhere and was nearly going to buy it, refresh my memory where did you get it? I got a Hemilitrion, shame about the eagles head otherwise a good crab.

... I absolutely "love" those cool ol' cast AE babies (the oldest AE coins "ever")
