    hmmm...i don't have much in the way of anchors. this coins has a small anchor counter mark at the 11 o -clock position, hard to see in my pic.

    Wow Martin, that Papius with the hippocamp and the anchor is Über-cool!!

    Steve,
    An anchor countermarked ATG is on my hit list. I just haven't found one I was willing to pull the trigger on yet. Yours is great with the anchor ticked out of the way. The placement of the countermrk varies so much on these.

    => Thanks Martin, I definitely agree ... I love where they hid the anchor countermark on the reverse of my coin (but sadly, the c/m kinda puched-in poor ol' Heracles' snout!! ... oh well, I guess ya seldomly get 'er all, eh?)
