Ancient uncleaned coins

Today was the first day of the PNNA coin show here in Seattle. Being a host club member you get to get in before they open, free run of all the tables.
So my first day i picked up 5 new coins which i'll post later..but today i want to show off my unclean lot i bought..
16 uncleaned coins...:yes:

1st. i would like to give these away to our Ancient YN's..So if you are a young Ancient collector and want to clean a couple coins, but all i ask is that you take a pic from the beginning to the end with up dates, also attribute the coin.
Here's the yn's i would like to see try this..

You don't have to do this if don't want to..you get to keep the coins( unless you fine a rare one)...just send me a email with address and i'll send you the coins...Some of these coins have counter stamps..18mm to 28mm

John, I'm not so sure how new Anoob is to the hobby, but I guess he can answer for hisself. That's a good thing you're doin. :thumb:

 

Windchild your not allowed to clean a couple of coins, or do your folks don't want strangers to contact you, have your folks email me and i'll send them to them...

Where are my Ancient YN's....

 

It's hard to give stuff away to YNs. I've tried several times, but I told them to ask their parents first, and the answer has always been no. Understandably so - the internet is NOT a safe place for young people. We have very tight restrictions as to what our kids do online, and probably if someone wanted their address to send them free stuff, I'd say no as well.

 

Isn't it a shame that it's come to this? But I don't blame parents at all. I just never thought about it since my two boys are older than most of you (not you Doug :devil.

 

I just found this lol. If you haven't given them away yet I'll take them off your hands Eng. After finishing on my last coin that needed cleaning, kinda got the urge to work on a few more coins. Plus I want to give a couple to my kid brother. Thanks eng

i'll would gladly clean some eng, and i'll send back any or all of them after. if you don't wan them back, i'll send you something else. HOWEVER, i may be a realativly new numismatist....but i am not a young one unforutnately ...

Chris, these coins are for you, i know your not a youngster, but your a young person collecting these coins, there been a lot of coin given and a lot of very good deals given to me, i would like to pass some on to you young Ancient collector's, so email me your address again and i'll send you some..... i don't want them back or send me any of your coin's..your our future...

Well, some people think I'm young at first, not sure why but I'll take it as a compliment. lol

I am still somewhat new to collecting ancient coins in comparison to others, only being over a year of collecting. Maybe approaching a year and a half.

I'll definitely take a coin or two only because I need some cleaning practice. Give them first to young people and then give a coin(s) to me. There are a couple I want to try and maybe I could even send them back to you.

Hey Eng, I often act really immature ... ummm, does that count?

=> just jokes => yah, I'm certainly "not" cut-out to be a coin-cleaner ... sadly, I would end-up getting impatient and then basically I'd start wittling-away until I created a coin-face (kinda like this)
