OK so, I am brand new to this entire website and I have been going through this giant coin bucket and I found this coin/medal. Can anyone tell me if this is real or fake? I found a picture of it in an old book online I will include both images. Thank you so much, can't wait to hear your responses!
It's unfortunately not ancient at all. I'm not even sure what it is but it looks nothing like any authentic coin of Trajan.
It might be a button or a fantasy piece like those they use nowadays in arabic dance outfits. It certainly isn´t a coin or medallion.
