    OK so, I am brand new to this entire website and I have been going through this giant coin bucket and I found this coin/medal. Can anyone tell me if this is real or fake? I found a picture of it in an old book online I will include both images.

    It's unfortunately not ancient at all. I'm not even sure what it is but it looks nothing like any authentic coin of Trajan.

    It might be a button or a fantasy piece like those they use nowadays in arabic dance outfits.

    It certainly isn´t a coin or medallion.
