Ancient India? Square grey metal token / gold paint - Unknown

    Does anyone recognize this? The paint is soft and I suspect it could be made from real gold. I came by it a while ago in a lot of ancient bronzes that I think were Indo-Greek.

    Unfortunately I don't have the other coins anymore but I kept this piece because I found it so interesting.

    It is about 20mm x 22mm & 3.8g.

    hmmmm...doesn't look like an ancient indo-greek to me. the style doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with. I would guess it was fairly modern and not a coin. maybe a token or something? a tile?

    Looks like a modern (19-20th century) possibly guilded token.
    The figure portrayed could be lord Hanuman.
