    It's a Trajan Bronze.... the Deity I would have to look up...and it appears to be a sestertius...the inscription would've included TRAINO before the Latin lettering AUG....Several inexpensive books like Sears etc help with inscriptions and typical personification of various deities....and are a great help in ID'ing Roman coins .. I'm sure several other members will clarify things even more for you shortly...the 'guys' are great and incredibly knowledgeable here ...

    Right on Doug...

    I was just browsing on a heritage Ancient Coin auction and I was stunned by the mandatory first bid(s) ....no wonder coin collecting was called "a rich mans hobby; LOL
