Ancient gold coin?

Check out this gold coin I have here. Any one know anything about it? Civilization, age, etc? It weighs .5g. Do you think it has any value?

Hmm, Indian. Good thing I didn't buy it either, $50 was way too much.

 

I bought one of these for $20 bucks once on November 6th, 2008, my first "real gold" coin. the one i have is an Indian Gold Fanam, similar to yours. Mine is circa 1740, according to the dealer that I purchased it from.
