Since not many ancients have been posted lately thought I'd post this one, and to make it fun (inspired somewhat from another topic on another forum), see if you can attribute it. Don't cheat Since its not a contest and no prize, there no reason too
I picked up 10 the other day...dont know about them and need to get my camera fixed!! As for your coin I have no idea lol Sorry.
I can't make out the date on this one, and without the size I can't give the exact denomination. But other than that I know the answer already. I'll give everyone else a chance.
yeah maybe I shoulda posted the size 20.0mm and its 1st Century B.C. The rev. is a seated figure (might give it away) I'll give some easy clues later.
Then I can add that its a tetrachalkon. On the reverse is a specific date in the Caesarean Era. But I won't say which city its from yet.
Thanks I didn't know the denomitation actualy dont know much other than what was written on the slip. Havent had much time to look anything up. Been tryen to study for a test, what I'm doin now..... sorta lol.
