    My 2nd pickup from a yesterday auction..

    Aelia Eudoxia...400-404..AD..
    Augusta, wife of Arcadius..
    Obv. AEL-EVDO-XIA-AVG..pearl- diademed and draped bust right, being crowned by Marus Dei.
    Rev. SALVS-REI-PVBICAE, Victory seated right, supporting shield with Chi-Rho.
    Mint Antioch..ANTT
    Ric..x104
    17mm x 2.54.
    Sellers notes, VF, black patina with earthen highlights.
    Very cool flan, with all details..

    An empress I need still, just havent found "the one" yet. Fairly common but not in the shape you have. Very nice. Most of the legends are there and the hand of god is nice and clear. Well done.

    Thanks for the comments folks, one thing about auctions you may get a coin or two for a good price or a little more. its the 12% commission on top of your bid that makes it a lot more expensive and with shipping too, look out...
