I have a 20$ 1908 Saint Gauden MS 63 No Motto graded by ANACS. It has a sticker on the outside with the letters ~~ DMLEX~~ Anyone know what this stands for?. Is this coin worth as much as the same grading from PCGS or NGC?
    Any info helps...thank you

As a general rule, ANACS is not worth as much as NGC or PCGS. However, you still have to consider the coin itself. If it is really an MS 63 then it is worth the money. However, in that instance you ay consider trying for a csossover (re-salb to the others).
As for the letters, usually DM stands for DEEP MIRROR, DMPL is Deep Mirror Proof Like. (Usually used together). However, this was probably the dealer's cost code.

I would partly agree and disagree with Frank....what kind of ANACS slab is the coin in??...If it is in a newer one then I would agree that I don't think they would sell as much but the coin is worth the same as if it was in a PCGS slabs----the case doesn't mean anything...or at least it shouldn't.
If it is in an OLD ANACS then there might be a chance that it is undergraded as they were really tight.

Speedy is correct.. Check to see the type of slab, and then check the description, see it any problems were noted on the label.
I forgot about ANACS slabbing problem coins.

It all depends on the coin inside... The coin inside...

Yup, that is the dealer's pricing code. Now to be able to figure it out!
    Still, nice coin.

Its in an older ANACS slab and that is good IMO----if you can post some clearer photos of just the coin then maybe we can grade it for you--but I would say that the old ANACS was pretty darn good.

If you try to sell it, no it is not. Most of the time coins in PCGS slabs will bring more, then NGC and then ANACS. The coins in ANACS slabs can be 60% - 80% of what the same coin in a PCGS slab would bring. I'm not saying that's right, I'm just saying that's how it is.

For whatever it's worth, I would say the coin is graded correctly - a 63.

I'm not much at grading gold but I agree with GDJMSP---after looking at the photos I think ANACS graded this one really good.
