About a year ago I sent a lot of coins to anacs in Texas to be slabed. I also bought there new clear plastic boxes to put them in. NOW they have changed the slab again, and the new ones don't fit in the boxes I bought from them less than a year ago. I called them, and they told me there will be new boxes in the future, but they didn't say that the old and new slabs would fit in the new boxes.
Well, I think that makes 4 different sizes of ANACS slabs now - and they all require different size boxes.
I just checked...they will be using the old ( new ) / new old? slabs for net grades only, and an all new style for normal use from now on
In the world of money and finance, stability is a good thing. Why does ANACS keep having all these radical changes ?
Because the newest slabs they use brake easy, and the oldest ones are to small to fit into the the PCGS NGC/witmans style slab box's with out rattling around. It would have been nice if ANACS bought out PCI, that way at least you slab loven guys & girls with your slabs could just have a nice easy fit.
