    To those who have had the opportunity, I will be in Colorado Srings for a few days in March. I would like to use Saturday as a day to vsit the ANA Money Museum. How much time should I allow to see everything. If it is not an all day affair, what else besides the library would you recommend to visit when there? Two other family members will be with me. Can they be admitted under my membership as my guests? They are both adults. And lastly, your thoughts for dinner or things to see that evening? We will be flying out first Sunday morning.

    Oh, yeah, you can see the museum in a day. Easy. The museum is a decent size but not huge. The current exhibit is 'Money of the Civil War'. (The exhibit has not changed in quite a while - maybe 3 years. A new exhibit will probably replace it in a few months.)

    Make sure you see the Harry Bass Museum (just off the Money Museum). On display is part of the Bass Collection - the only complete collection of US Gold Coins (including the unique 1870-S $3) and a ton of Patterns.

    Don't forget to check out the displays on the lower level and the museum.

    Your ANA membership will get you into the museum for free but your guests will have to pay for their admission ($5 for adults).

    Colorado Springs has a lot of good restaurants. What kind of food do you like?

    Hobo;
    Great information, thanks for the post. As far as food tastes, it's more like what don't you eat. Leave out exotic, (will ocassionally try it, but not, if they won't tell you what's in it) and high high priced (over $60-70 per person) and limited, micro dot, portions. Everything else is fair game!
