Hello, I was wondering if the one year membership price was per year or per month, because the price seems very low.

What price are you looking at? And are you an adult or a YN? Are you a Senior? Membership rates are shown here.

There are two ways to join: 1) Regular Membership - the Numismatist magazine is mailed to each month and 2) Basic Membership - the Numismatist is available to you on-line.

For YNs Basic Membership is $14 and Regular Membership is $26. For adults Basic Membership is $28 and Regular Membership is $46. Regular Membership for Senior is $41. If you register for 2 or 3 years the rates are slightly lower. These rates are for one year of membership.

Life Membership is $800 for Basic Membership and $1200 for Regular Membership if you are 55 years old or less and $600 and $900 respectively if you are older than 55. (I paid $400 for my Life Membership in 1986.)

The only monthly option shown is for Life Membership. To make the pill easier to swallow they allow you to spread the payments over a one- or two-year period (your choice).
