Anyone taken the ANA correspondence course? If yes, feel like sharing your opinions of it? Looks very interesting and a good way for me to geek out on coins while I'm away.

Also, reading older posts it sounds like the ANA is a good organization for me to join. If anyone would like to share their thoughts about membership in the ANA, I'd be happy to "hear" them.

    Thanks!

I took the beginners and intermediate courses in the
70's and the grading, error and counterfeit detection
courses in the 90's. I liked all of them but there was
no internet for me either when I took them. In the
70's no one even believed in such things as a personal
computer or Internet. They believed Milton Berle
    was actually funny.

I left the ANA with the Walter episode. I hear he's the
    president now. Good fot him!

Jwt - there are many different ANA courses. And while taking the correspondence version is not as good as taking them in person - it is far, far better than not taking them at all. Take the courses, you'll be glad you did ;)

Thanks GDJMSP. Would much rather take them in person, but I'm thinking of taking them next year, while I'm away from my family.
