Hi all! I was labelling up all the new coins that I've added to my collection recently, and was going through all the Gallienus coins that I bought in a relatively large lot a short while ago, and came across this seemingly common AETERNITAS AVG antoninianus from Asia mint, with Saturn reverse. (I really need to take a better picture of it) However, I can't find a reference for any coins of this type without PXV reverse. I've found a couple with "A" in the exergue instead, such as this one from Roma Numismatics https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=6458808 The only other coin with a blank exergue that I was able to find was this coin from a Savoca Blue auction in 2018. It was not labelled as such https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=5147908 It looks in the pictures that my coin might have something in the exergue, but in hand, it's very glossy, and I can't see anything there. Am I missing something? Thanks!
Gallienus minted a HUGE variety of coins. His coins are covered in RIC, v.5, part 1, which was published in 1927, almost 100 years ago. It's not surprising to find a new, unpublished variety. Nice detective work.
