An Old Radar Note

This is a genuine Confederate States of America Note from the Civil War. I just bought this one and it arrived yesterday. I already have this note but it was a very low asking price and I bought it because of the Serial Number. It’s a radar note, 2992 with plate position A.
It has folds, the left side is trimmed very tight, there are a few very small nicks on the edges and it has 2 pin holes. Pin holes are acceptable but they do lower the value of the note. How much depends on the size of the hole and how many holes there are.
This note would be graded in VF. It was issued on February 17th, 1864. It had a face value of $50.00.
Just another little Christmas bonus to me, from me, as I’ve been very good this year. Lol

I was given the opportunity to buy a bunch of CSA notes along with a lot of coins a week ago but I know just enough about them to get in trouble so I passed, cool looking notes though.

 

They are really fun and educational.
