An odd solidus?

    Hi everyone,
    I just saw this coin pop up at my local auction, it is identified as a Maurice Tiberius Solidus, but I didn't think that attribution is correct, as on those coins, Victory on the reverse is shown facing forward, but on the coin in question, Victory is facing to the right. Also, the mintmark is different, and usually Roman Solidus coins have the mintmark conor, but on this coin, it says "OBXX". I would appreciate it if anyone could give me their opinions, and the value on this coin.

    Wow that looks remarkably similar to a very old replica known since at least 1969 of a 20 Siliquae of Justin II. I would guess the reverse was changed from OB*+ to OBXX, these are commonly faked or altered. See SB F18/19

    A quick search shows two in the sales record. I cant see much from your photo, so maybe you can compare them yourself:
