Hi All, we always hear about bad internet dealers here on CT. I though I would change it up a little. I want to be clear on this, I am in NO WAY affiliated with these people or the company. I just came across them while surfing a few days ago. They don't have alot of flash or gimics or even a huge inventory. BUT, the people who run the company are very helpful and their prices are great! Their site is easy to navigate and search. The person I have been dealing with is Patty. She is very personable and willing to help however she can. The name is New World Coin and Stamp company, http://nwcoin.com/index.php . So far their customer service has been top notch in my book, which for me goes a very long way. Companies like this are few and far between, I just though I would let the people know that there is still hope out there. Thanks, Mark
I did'nt know we could post names but as you have so will I. I have been doing buisness with a very good dealer in Shawnee Mission, ks named Thomas Waggoner. Although he does not have a website, his coins are properly graded, postage is only $3.00, free if you order over $300.00 in merchandise and he sends out a monthly list. You can find him occasionally in Numismatic News with a partial listing. No flash and gimmicks and no Sheldon M.S. system needed as all the coins I have ordered have been properly graded the old fashioned way, which I truly appreciate.
I checked the site out Mark and it looks interesting. They even had some Icelandic coins which I'm sure brought a smile to your face. I'll have to check in with them here and there. Thanks for the heads up. Bruce
I am glad to see that we are positive threads like this! To add to this (when I had more cash) that I dealt with RLM on a regular basis who always gave me a good prices and sent everything certified mail. I still try to deal with him on occassion/when I can afford it. He always been proffessional and given me words of wisdom when I needed it.
