Has anyone ever come across a modern gold coin with an error on it?

Once in awhile I will go to the error section of ebay and check to see, I've only come across one and it wasn't an error on the coin itself, instead it was a simple error on the grading package. If anyone has a gold coin with an error I would surely appreciate seeing a pic.

Alright good link! I guess gold coins are alot rarer than regular coins but some of the reported errors are not really significant or could even be fakes. After doing some more reading I found more info and a few examples on ebay. There's a gold panda on the bay right now under 380121052433 but it sure is expensive. There's also another coin, I will put up a pic of the dragon up but I really don't know if this dragon is an actual mint caused error.

I'd have to see that dragon in person. :secret:

Looks like a clipped planchet kinda. Does it have any sign of the "Blaksley effect"?

if you are referring to fretboard's coin, then not likely.
The 'clip' (if that is what it is) is too small to show the effect.
