Amos Press has owned ANACS since 1990 and has agreed to sell ANACS to Anderson Press of Atlanta (parent company of Whitman Publishing). Gee...I wonder what kind of table ANACS will get at the Whitman Coin & Collectible Show in Atlanta on May 26th - 28th? Also, maybe Anderson can help ANACS with their turnaround time. I sent coins under economy service (yeah, I was cheap) and it took over 3 months to get them back. They charged my credit card upon receipt...but services weren't rendered until well after they got my money. That is my biggest beef with ANACS...slow and my money was held for almost 3 months. At least they were fair with the grades and varieties I submitted. What recommedations for Anacs would you want to share with their new ownership?
I have coins there right now so I hope that it is alright that it sold to Whitman.... Ed I called before I send in mine and they said that it would take 3 months so I guess that is regular.. Speedy
