Americana Series

Though I am not collecting a lot of the older coins I would like to have cheap examples of some of them for my grandkids. Let me know if you think I did ok on this auction. I know these are probably a step above junk silver but I thought it would be neat for the kids.

Well, considering that, including postage, you paid about silver melt, or lower, ya done good.

 

Heck of a deal. Barbers carry a premium over junk prices - unless they're really harshly cleaned or real "shiny". Just the three Barbers are probably worth almost $10 and then you got the nickel and penny as a bonus.

I've got a couple of those sets in the past - don't expect high quality, you'll be lucky to get G4, but for that price...

 

I figure the graqndkids will love them and I am not out much. Ok, I will love them, I like having an example of as many different coins as I can regardless of the condition. As long as I can read the date and see all the features it works for me.:mouth:

 

That's a price I would have paid. I'd say you did good especially with 3 silver pieces in there.
