Hello - well, I finally completed a set of yearly American Silver Eagles from 1986 to today. However, I am trying to determine the value of my set and looking for a reliable site for retail value. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks, I am having a difficult time finding a site with recent values. This is a fun collection I've been doing throughout the decades.
IMO, If you do an eBay search of complete sets 'SOLD' I would think this would give you some real-time price points. J.T.
It is a fun set. I terminated mine at the end of the original design. I don't want to start any new series of anything.
Here's a sold complete set. A set of MS69 coins generally may sell for ~$2000. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144347149566?hash=item219bc2b4fe:g:cLQAAOSwqcFhyc0p
I have a full set of the proof ASE and I was wondering the same thing, that's why I've decided to get the older ones graded. https://www.pcgs.com/shared-orders/order-details/22528634
I have a question that slightly off-topic. A lcs is offering 70$ per coin for proof ASEs. I have 10 to sell. Should I go ebay or lcs?
I believe if that's the net amount from the LCS, a bird in the hand...... I've been an advocate for direct sales relations, but the decision is yours! JMHO
I try to avoid ebarf, and would relish the opportunity to build a relationship with LCS. IMHO, too much can go wrong with online. $2,000 seems low, is that just the regular issues?
