I have for a lot of years and American Silver Dollar 1926 and was wondering if it were worth anything. I am not a collector and just inherited it with other coins. Thanks if anyone can help

A 1926 Peace Dollar would be worth somewhere between its bullion value of ~$8 and a few hundred dollars, depending entirely upon its condition and whether or not it has an "S" or "D" mintmark.

A clear picture of both sides would greatly improve the chances of getting a closer estimate.

thank you for your speedy reply. I know nothing about coins. Where is a mint mark on a coin?

It is below ONE on the reverse.

In US coins it is a small letter on the coin that indicates where the coin was made (some other countries use letters for their mintmarks and some use different symbols). D is for Denver, S is for SanFrancisco, and no mintmark means it was made in Philadelphia.

The mintmark location is different depending on what coin you are looking at. GDJMSP gave the correct location for a 1926 US Dollar's mintmark.
