Hi I have a few silver eagles in plastic coin holders and I was wondering if these are safe to store my coins in. I will include a pic of it. Thanks, freaky
They are known to cause some pretty wild toning sometimes. So if you don't like toning, don't use them.
It could , bullseye toning is probably formed in Whitman like holders , where the cardboards sulfer interacts with the edge of the coin 1st , but nobody can predict with certainty how something will tone . rzage
I have 2 sets in Dansco albums full and those tone rather nicely. The ones I have in the cigar boxes in the garage ..yeah, not so much.
