The US mint is showing that the American Eagle 20th Anniversary Coin Sets will be on sale August 30. Does anyone know what the set will contain, price etc.
Does anyone know about what time the Mint usually puts stuff on sale? will it be like midnight on the 30th or later on that day? i kind of need to know....it's a school day =(
I understand that there will be a 3 coin gold set (proof, Unc & Reverse Proof), the same set in silver and then a 2 coin (1 silver-1 gold) This could get pricey!!!
reverse proof what you mean by reverse proof? anyone. picture between proof and reverse proof. thanks.
reverse proof. thanks eddyk, is this reverse proof first time around?. if not, what other coin have it?.
which one is better i think proof is better than the reverse proof. no wonder each year the mint issued proof version rather tnan reverse proof. the three coins set is over priced. proof $27.95 reverse proof $27.95 (presume same price, but i will consider lower than proof). unc. version is about $13 to $14. total is about $70.00. and the price is $100.00.
Is there any information online that anybody can post about the sets? The only thing I can find on the Mint's website is the release date. Thanks.
I know that for the first time in years I'm going to be ordering at least one set of the ASE..... Speedy
What exactly would you like to know ? The coins and the sets have been discussed many times here on Coin Talk ever since they announced them months ago. A search of the forum will provide just about any info you care to know.
I just want a set--don't know why because since I'm buying one that means that they will never go up in value. BTW---does the mint have anything on their site about this??...I've looked and looked and can't find anything. Speedy
