Can anyone tell me if the ASE's that are or have the 24kt gold plate whether it be all gold plated or the ones that are silver and have the walking liberty plated in gold, are good to collect and would they be worth more than the 9.00 an ounce of silver? Do people tend to collect these more? Thanks.

There may be a following for them, but they are just bullion coins. Most people won't give you more than spot+ for them. And sorry, but most serious collectors don't care for plated bullion.

About the same as your other post. They are novelties and as such only good if your into such things. Normally the answer to your questions would be No. 1 is NO. or if it is, not very much. The answer to your second question is NO. You are the only one I know of at this time. Sorry!:kewl:

I have a few colorized American Silver Eagle coins. But I paid the same price that I would for a plain bullion coin. It's just another way to collect silver bullion; no better or worse.
