Just bought 9 rolls of 90% silver coins and two 1 oz coins from a lady from Craigslist. She wanted to sell them for $500 and, because it was a steal, I told her that I needed to pay more. However, no matter what, I couldn't talk her into going higher. She threatened to sell them elsewhere and so I bought them from her. Here's what I got: 6 rolls of silver dimes (3 rolls are BU roosies (1955, 1958, 1958) and there were also 35 mercs) 3 rolls of silver Franklin Halves (all rolls are BU condition (2x1962D and a full roll of BU 1955!) 2 1 oz coins (not ASE) but some form of generic silver rounds. Wow! I still can't believe it. I'll try to post some pics of the BU coins soon.
Thats quite nice. I had an experience like this in a flea market 2 weeks ago. I was buying ASEs and AU/BU morgan/peace dollars for $16 a piece. Included was a 1996 ASE, the "key date" in the series. Also bought $100 face in old US currency for face value. Included in that was a very nice $2 Red seal star note. Congrats on your pickup.
