I was sitting here after a hard day in the salt mine (lol) reading the forums and started thinking that I have never gotten a Sacagawea dollar in change.
I can remember getting Ike dollars as change and SBA dollars but not the golden dollar.

If you go to the Post Office and use their vending machine for stamps, you will get lots.

I wasn't particularly looking for them or even like them. I am happy with the ones in the mint and proof sets that I get.

Best place to get Sac's as change is the Car wash bill changer...lots of Sacs..

That's good, 'cause I don't like the nasty lookin' ones that have been circulating....How much money does the mint need to get the finish on a new coin right?

My coin dealer sometimes gives them out as change, along with clad halves and well-worn $1 silver certificates.
