am I rich?

    I just bought a roll of 1943 pennies from eBay, and it had a perfectly red shining 1943 copper wheat penny!!! It does not stick to magnets or anything. I hear there are only 40? Am I rich? I do not know how to post pics sorry.

    More likely subject to arrest if you try to sell it. There are more fakes out there than you can shake a stick at. Without a picture, we have no hope of saying what it is.

    Even if there's a lot of fakes, if I opened an OBW roll of 43's and saw that, I'd be excited.

    Check out this link so we can all have a chuckle looking at your fake, and at least some of us can point out the visible evidence.

    BTW the direct answer to your question is: Sure, if you were already rich before you opened the roll of cents.
