I got several packages in todays mail. 3 of them were som eof the books i ordered recently. - Paper Money of the United States - 18th edition friedberg - Standard Catalof of United States paper Money - 26th edition Cuhaj - Standard Guide to Small Size US Paper Currency - 8th edition Schwartz/Lindquist I was also able to go to the bank today to sell and then buy some singles. When i went to my sell to bank, i sold the ones i had, and exchanged for 10's. I got 2 star notes in the 10's i got back. Both 10's are dated 1999, and both are in very good, yet circulated, condition. The first note is BK06111660* from (K) Dallas, and the second note is BD03433455* from (D) Cleveland. So i was excited to get 2 stars. Then i take whats left and go to my next buy from bank. In the 2 bundles of 1's , i got 3 more stars. All 3 $1 stars are dated 2003-A. The first (RickeyB) is from, yep you guessed it, (B) New York with a serial B12817020* this note is still crisp with a small stain in the lower corner slightly bent courners, some minor folds and light handling marks. The second note is (F) Atlanta with a serial F15731790* and is still very crisp. The corners are still square, but you can see slight eveidence they were bumped and a couple or slightly curved from it. The last star is squential from this second note. Serial F15731791* and is in just as good of shape. i am sorry i cant post pictures. But today started out as a VERY bad day, and to get the stars i got ... well it did help make it a bit better.
Nice finds. I hardly ever gets star notes. But I did buy myself an uncut sheet of 4, $5 Bills. Series 1995 F(Atlanta,GA)Now I have a sheet of Ones, a Sheet of Twos and now this sheet of Fives. I grabbed the sheet of Fives today for $25, I didnt think that was half bad for a price. Ill try to post pics to show you currency guys later.
What a great way to end a day DaggerJohn... Fantastic!! Do I detect another New York Collector?? Some of these notes are just plain expensive and difficult to find... Way to go!!! :thumb::thumb: RickieB
nice finds! :kewl:the $10 1999 BD03433455* and 2003A $1 B12817020* are from pretty low runs of 320,000.
i didnt get a chance to look up printing numbers, thanks I usually only look at the total printage numbers, but 320,000 is a pretty small run
