Came across this 2000 Lincoln while CRH. Looked at the AM and saw it was wide - got excited. Unfortunately when I looked at the FG it was all wrong. Wrong font and too far from the memorial. It does however look like it's missing much on the cu layer.
Always remember that the spacing between the A and M and M E are the same with a Wide AM. Die polishing can also be a factor in the spacing between the A and M. A die polishing/lapping is going to remove the lower areas of relief and show a widening of spaces and weaker detail to the devices. This can happen also to the 92 Close AM. With die deterioration and plating issues. Some deterioration on the 92D will show a joining AM. I thought I struck it Rich once.
