Hey gang, Can anyone shed any light on my South Carolina quarter that looks to be all copper? It's from the Denver mint and there looks to be no nickel at all. Could someone have 'copper plated' it? Unfortunately I don't have a working camera right now but the coin is copper colored and doesn't sound like a regular quarter would. Thanks!!
Can you weigh the coin? Try to weigh it to the nearest 0.01 g. If you don't have a scale a jeweler or a coin dealer may weigh it for you.
