All Coin Auction

    Why are people pay retail prices on all auctions i have 3 magazines and grey sheets if a 1921 peace is in pcgs Ms 64 @ 935.00 i have been reading pay no more than 350-400 for it
    Morgan 1921S Ms 65 no more 700-750
    and all other coins Maybe i wrong someone let me know

    Retail price in magazines and greysheet is often much more than a coin actually sells for at auction. The thing is, the bid is often much less than the actual price.

    it seems to me that auctions are where the prices are higher i have been following 2-3 the last 2 months and all coins are higher.....

    What you may not be taking into account is the coins in an auction can be viewed before bidding. High end (for the grade) coins bring more than low end (for the same grade) coins.

    Hi 7azul. Welcome to the forum. You really should post your question in a new thread so people can respond to you. When you post in the middle of a thread having nothing to do with your question you severely reduce the likelihood of getting a meaningful answer. And, if possible, post a picture of the item you're asking about.
