I have information of that type on most of the coins minted in the world since 1601, but to share it with you I would have to copy the nearly 6,000 pages of the 4-volume Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins, the 300+ pages of the Redbook, and the nearly 300 pages of the Japanese Numismatic Dealers Association catalog.

mintages the marine corp is sold out. 600,000 pc. that's a lot. i don't think the value will go up. but it's a nice piece of coin. i don't have one.
statistics why mint set sales figure keep going down?. is it because people like proof set more?. and also the popularity of silver proof set keep increasing?.
buffalo nickel mintage by looking at the mintage on the buffalo nickel. i found out that it is 400 millions plus. only slightly over than other nickels. and it much lower that some of the 50 statehood quarters. by standard, buffalo nickel mintage is average. not high nor low. it is safe to hoard some. it will be stable in pricing as predicted by others that it will go down.
I dont know where you got that - but the mint is still seeling them as of 3 minutes ago... just have a delayed ship date is all ...
They don't track mintage numbers that way. The 2004 5 cent coins found in the 6 pc set are the very same coins found in the rolls, the mint sets, the Proof sets and all coins released for circulation. Thus there are only two mintage numbers for all of those coins combined - the mintage of the business strike coins and the mintage of the Proof coins. I think what you really want to know is how many of the 6 pc sets have been sold. That information can be found on the mint's web site. All you have to do is look. Also - always keep in mind, there is a huge difference between mintage numbers and sales numbers. They are not the same thing.
For the 2004 nickel sets I have a sales number of less then 200,000. I think that number came from a coin world article. At the time I wrote that down to quote for future sales. Joe

mintage for westward journey nickels ocean in view nickel came out just recently. i see o.v. production increase repidly. here are the data as of today. peace medal (P) 361,440,000 (D) 372,000,000 keelboat (P) 366,720,000 (D) 344,880,000 am. bison (P) 448,320,000 (D) 487,680,000 ocean in view (P) 254,400,000 (D) 290,400,000 i estimate ocean in view might pass peace medal and keelboat in production or at almost the same mintage with 2004 nickels. how the u.s. mint sold those nickels? total production: peace medal 733,440,000 sold by mint i don't have figure keelboat 711,570,000 sold by mint 24,932,400 or 3.2% am.bison 936,000,000 sold by mint 95,399,480 or 10.2% ocean in view 544,800,000 sold by mint 28,520,520 or 5.2% note: ocean in view still in production stage. mintage will be much higher after end of the year. another thing is that the banks and the dealers or investors, collectors and general public also hoard a lot of these nickels. so it could drops the price to its bottom. a nickel is a nickel. i concluded that i should not even buy the 2005 westward journey nickel 6 pc set. 2004 set is the winner.
mintage where can we get the correct mintage?. some magazine report different mintages from each other.
