alien Rosevelt dime

    Here's a roservelt dime that I found in a roll today I know for sure this is not a mint error .I have examined the coin and I;m pretty sure this was done out side the mint. I still can;t figure it out how they applied so much pressure to the coin to get this effect without bending it out of shape completly/ Notice the reverse of the coin how you could tell it was tampered with. I just don't understand why some body would even attemped something like this ,maybe to try and fool us collectors /I know this isn't post mint damage some body most have been bored that day or some little kid for that matters . I just thought this would be interesting to post. Let me know what you think how they acheived this alien dime:confused:.
