Despite the poor condition of this coin, I could read " Alexander " in Greek on the reverse. The figure on the obverse shows a face that could be Alexander the Great. What do you say? The coin is small and thick, it weighs 6.68 g. Thanks.. Charles... Alex.jpg Alex R.jpg

Yes, Alexander the Great, club and bow series.

I agree. One of the more recognizable greek bronzes.

    Cool coin, 7Charles ...

I have an example to compare your coin against ...

    Alexander III the Great AE19
    336 - 323 BC
    Diameter: 19 mm
    Weight: 5.99 grams
Obverse: Head of Alexander as Herakles in Nemean lion scalp headdress to right
Reverse: Alexander between club and bow with bow case and quiver, cluster of grapes and monogram above

.... on the cool-side, these coins are "lifetime" (the coins were struck during his reign)
