    The portrait on the obverse of this Greek coin does not look strange to me , at all. Still I think I need to be careful while identifying an ancient coin. I believe this coin is likely to be a bronze Macedonian. What do you think ? Thanks for your comments.. Alex O.jpg Alex R.jpg

    Don't think Macedonian.
    Again Seleukid, issued under the rule of Alexander I Balas.

    Thanks a lot. It's likely to be BMC 49, with Apollo standing on the reverse.
