I tried to PM, but it wouldn't let me because it said something along the lines of "thecoin cannot recieve PMs"

I think that's because he got banned. The mods have been playing with the ban hammer more than usual lately.

 

Is it a temporary ban? I was wondering where coin was.

 

It says he was active at 2:20 PM today. So he got banned within the last 2 hours?

You'd have to ask "thecoin" about that one but I'd guess no according to his rules

 

According to his website he will be away from CT for about a week.

It is also my understanding, through thecoin's own admission, that he has been banned from CT temporarily, as he stated on his website for people not to contact him at Coin Talk for a week.
