Alaska state quarter

    Does anybody know what cause the extra bear claws? I've seen them with 6,7 and 8 claws.

    They are only die chips and that;s it and they are also located in other ares of that coin I have one were the die chips are on IN GOD WE TRUST seem to be very common on that quarter
