    Three great Jefferson finds Friday:
    1938 P, 1942 S Silver and 1945 D Silver
The "shame" was the condition of the 1938. It looked like it spent the last 85 years in a parking lot. Following are photos.

Well, I don't think I would send them in to be graded, but you did get a little silver.

Right. But there was a good mix of 40's and 50's in the lot.

I'm with you. Notice that my mood is sarcastic.

Despite the conditions of the coins I’d be happy that I found them. They just don’t make them anymore.

Yes. There were some other nice coins including a 41-S that appears to be the Large S. Photo of it after I finish evaluating it.

Here are some of the better Jefferson's I found in my most recent rolls:

Very early this year or the end of last year I was doing some specific roll searching of nickels. After I was finished the rolls I looked through they had more old war nickels in them than nickels from the 1950s. Found that really strange.

I think a lot of people are cashing in their piggy banks because of the economy the way it is.

It is strange but it’s also a good thing in your favor. :)

Tonight I found a very nice 1939 P and a 1901 Liberty Nickel. Plus some assorted 40's and 50's. Pics later.
