the other week i found a one dollar bill with the serial number: 44141442 so it was pretty much a 7-digit radar number. I didnt keep it - still waiting for a real one.
A "Radar" bill has a serial number that reads the same, forwards and backwards, i.e., 12344321, 98766789. If the letters at each end also match, i.e., A12344321A, it is even more rare.
I had a crusty old 5 at work on Saturday night... I kept it untill close... I decided to 'deposit' it It was 14141114... A nice number if you ask me ;-)
mostly because it wasnt a true radar bill. it was cool and all, but i thought, eh, I'll wait till next time.
I got these bills this week - G 55446633 H (not sure what this would be called other then cool) (2003FW) F 75727671 F (another one-- just cool or something else?) (2003A) D 84666688 B (so close to being a true radar) (2003) G 43888839 D (as close as the other one, so close) (2001FW) other cool serials - F 01000700 H (2003FW) L 00044290 B (2003FW) B 00013741 M (1999) I have yet to find any TRUE radar or ladder ... still hunting however hya:
I always check my bills when I go to the atm or receive change for stars and serial numbers. last week I got a $20 radar note, at first all the 6's freaked me out but I thought it was cool anyway. 2005 61666616 I went to www.coolnumbers.com it ranked it real high
I went to the site and typed in a radar number and it told me that only 0.01of all 8 digit numbers are pallindromes. That's 1/10 of one percent! On the other hand,my social security number was rated way uncool!
