Advice with 1943/2 p nickel lamination error?

    I see the tip of the " 2 " coming off of the tip of the " 3 " .
    Make sure it has the rest of what coneca list for that DDO & DDR .

    Honestly, I think that is the die spike and not the overdate. The angle of the overdate points inside the bottom curve of the three. The die spike points at the middle of the three.

    After looking at the better image in Post #4 and Rick's link to Variety Vista, I don't think it is a 1943/2. Interesting Lamination, however.

    Thanks everyone it's been a tricky one to figure out,yeah I thought a lawn mower hit it lol,but seeing other in that yeae,I'm thinking lamination error.

    Agreed.

    At least the lamination could be considered a consolation prize.
