Hi there, it's been a while since I posted anything, because I hate onesy twosy asking if denominations are of value with serial numbers. See the list just below. I am guessing they are spenders, but wanted a collectors opinion before spending. Thank you as always for any advice! Gayle Ones: J 17188172 B 2017 - kinda crinkly B 69666654 B 2021 - crisp with crinkles Twenties: ME 33633313 I 2013 - creases and crinkles PF 07808070 F 2017 A - light bends and corner folds Hundos: AJ 77779133 A 1996 - faded, crinkled, folds and corner issues LF 51111171 C 2009 A - crisp with fold marks PE 95955777 C 2017 A - crisp crisp with one very slight corner bend
Hi Gayle, IMO they're all spenders. Out of the bunch I'd say this one is the closest to a keeper, but still a spender if it were in my possession. And this is based on them being sight unseen for me. But crinkly, crinkles, bends, folds, faded, and issues are descriptions that don't bode well for only 'close but no cigar' notes. Twenties: PF 07808070 F 2017 A - light bends and corner folds
They are all safe to spend. Here is a website with an accurate list of true fancy serial numbers if you haven't seen it yet http://www.coolserialnumbers.com/FancySerialNumbers.aspx
Always remember that condition is the number one thing to look for even if is considered rare people want something in good shape.
I actually knew that, but didn’t know what came first, the chicken or the egg. Or rather condition vs serial number. I know they go hand in hand, I needed confirmation that although serial number is special, it’s still nothing really, if the bill is in poor condition. thank you so much for that tidbit. (……and yes, I was pretty sure these were spenders!) Gayle
